5.5 years ago when I first stepped into the gym, I was told by a trainer that I need at least 2-3 years to achieve a good lean muscular body.
My reaction was like HOLY CRAP! Years? Who the hell would want to workout for so long?

2000+ days passed and today I am still working hard to improve my overall physique. I've found working out is part of my lifestyle and it's a positive one!

During these years I've met people who looked and worked more superior than me, but come and go.
I didn't realized how much I've improved till I look back my old photos, and standing beside with them today.

As long as I am working my effort with consistency, someday I will reach my goal!

Tips: Set both long and short term goal.
Besides setting a big 3-6 months goal (lose or gain weight), also make short and simple goal. It can be like accomplishing 3-5 workout sessions per week (even on a busy week) to ensure all body parts are trained! Repeat... Overtime results = You do the maths!

Be consistent.
Because time flies, consistency will bring you there! JY

About author
I wasn't born with this physique... I've been skinny and fat, zero confidence to almost every area of my life. My life changed dramatically when I started working out for like 5 days a week. A few years later not only I saw improvement on my health and outlook, but it helped me to persist many other negative things in life! What I've learned from gym room... No pain no gain! The harder you struggle the more glorious the triumph! Yup, Life is Up and Down, but every downfall doesn't mean is bad. Just like working out, those pain can be really painful and annoying, but pain is the sign of weakness leaving the body, they are your strength for tomorrow! the best part? Your gains actually last much longer than your pain. Fitness is a gift of my life. I am blessed that I am able to share my gift to everyone here in this amazing platform.
